SpaceLink Joins the UN’s agency for information and communication technologies

SpaceLink recently joined the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as a member of the Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R). The ITU-R is responsible for equitable and efficient use of the radio-frequency spectrum.  As a member, the company joins hundreds of industry leaders in shaping spectrum policy. SpaceLink plans to be an active participant in Study Group 4 and its Working Parties, with particular interest in Working Party 4A – Efficient orbit/spectrum utilization for FSS and BSS.

The ITU was founded by the United Nations in 1865 and is committed to connecting all the world’s people – and protecting and supporting everyone’s right to communicate.​
