NASA Awards Contract to SpaceLink

SpaceLink will study and demonstrate optical ground terminal integration with NASA’s Near Space Network. The funded study includes a demonstration of secure data relay at the SpaceLink gateway in the Mojave Desert.

DARPA Selects SpaceLink for Space-BACN

SpaceLink to assist DARPA in studying and developing protocols for how commercial communications constellations will interact with DoD systems in a Space-to-Space interconnected future. “DARPA’s Space-BACN program is well-aligned with our mission to provide continuous high capacity, real-time links to deliver data from space to the warfighter,” said David Nemeth, Senior Vice President of Systems Engineering at SpaceLink.

SpaceLink Signs Cooperative R&D Agreement with U.S. Army

SpaceLink is working with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command Technical Center to explore alternative space communications pathways that ensure resiliency and reduce sensor-to-shooter latency. The collaborative research and simulations will provide a baseline of interoperability between Government systems and the SpaceLink network.
